With a reputation as an innovative provider of quality care, Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC) is a not-for-profit, 191-bed regional hospital providing a wide-range of care to the population of 12 counties in South Central Georgia. Located in Tifton, but growing with the addition of locations in Adel, we are seeking dynamic professionals to add to our staff.
Our Information Systems department is currently accepting applications for a Clinical Application Analyst and a Clinical Informaticist. Candidates will be responsible for managing assigned projects of various clinical applications, provide support and training to staff and assist in the preparation of training materials for users. Ideal candidate must be licensed as a health care practitioner in Georgia with at least four years experience in clinical applications and two years experience in implementation, support and utilization of current information system technology.

The multitude of services provided include a regional medical center in Kankakee, a senior living center in Kankakee, an ambulatory campus in Bourbonnais, Coal City and Watseka and 10 community based primary health care centers that cover approximately 3,500 square miles of urban and rural care. The entire Riverside Health System provides care to a diverse population of approximately 450,000 individuals.
Specifically, Riverside Medical Center provides an acute care hospital service, cardiovascular and thoracic program, medical and radiation oncology, neurosurgical services, mental health and rehabilitation units, active obstetrics units and nursery, with an average of 250 active beds (licensed for 325) and 35,000 Emergency Department visits annually; excellent diagnostics and progressive information systems with electronic access to laboratory, radiology, cardiology imaging and medical records. CLINICAL INFORMATICS SPECIALIST
The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the clinical information system, providing technical and application support in regards to system design, build, testing and quality control. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will serve as a clinical liaison to the development and production teams for electronic systems impacting clinical processes. The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for analyzing and reviewing the clinical information system functionality and any associated workflows, ensuring that the system fulfills the needed requirements. The Clinical Informatics Specialist provides leadership for planning, design, development and management of clinical innovation through information systems technology, education and clinical practices in order to support the organization's mission and goals in the delivery of safe, quality patient care. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will implement systematic changes required for use of clinical information systems as needed to support the clinician, provide assistance to all hospital associates as it relates to the clinical information system, serving as an expert consultant to committees requiring expertise. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will lend guidance and assistance in the proper use of the clinical information system by continually monitoring and evaluating system usage for opportunities to optimize its operation. Job Requirements Requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in health related field
Current IL nursing license
Five years of clinical/physician practice experience
Experience in clinical information systems
Project management skills
Strong and effective interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with physicians and other staff
Demonstration of skill in facilitating change
Excellent customer service skills

Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, PA, or NP required. 4 years of experience in a Health Care Informatics environment. 5 years of experience in Health Care Services. 2 years of clinical experience in nephrology practice is desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Analytical and problem solving ability, excellent interpersonal and communications skills, creativity and business acumen, multi-tasking and project management skills. Demonstrated track record of success and career progression. Most of the work will be performed within an office environment.
